With that in mind, here is some of the top WorkTech news for February 9th.<\/p>\n Accounting Seed, an accounting solution built on the Salesforce Platform, has announced its latest product offering, AP (Accounts Payable) Automation. The launch of this solution reinforces Accounting Seed’s commitment to helping small and mid-sized companies improve efficiency, maximize growth, and run their accounting and payable processes from a single, unified platform. Accounting Seed’s AP Automation includes three key features: email to payables, payment proposals, and automated payment distribution.<\/p>\n Blue Yonder, a supply chain solution provider, has acquired flexis AG, a flexible software technology provider that specializes in production optimization and transportation planning and execution. flexis’ solution suite includes production planning, scheduling, order slotting and sequencing (OSS), transportation capacity planning, and vehicle routing capabilities. The acquisition will help Blue Yonder strengthen its capabilities to help companies in the automotive and industrial original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sectors plan and optimize their production facilities and network structures.<\/p>\n ConnectWise, a software company that works with technology solutions providers (TSPs), has released several advancements for its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution and ConnectWise Sidekick solution. The updates include a streamlined search experience that enables users to locate RPA bots, an improved onboarding process, increased site mapping capabilities, more data mapping functionalities, and enhanced device and client management tools to make it easier for users to manage their resources.<\/p>\n Deltek, a global provider of project-based software solutions, has launched Replicon Time Tracking and Polaris PSA for Government Contracting, two solutions purpose-built for the needs of government contractors. These time-tracking and PSA solutions support regulatory compliance and can be integrated into a company’s processes regardless of their current ERP or financial system. Together, these tools will help government contractors consolidate employee time collection, capture billable time accurately, use real-time insights to plan capacity, improve client management, improve collaboration between project and resource managers, and more.<\/p>\n Genpact, a global professional services firm, has expanded its partnership with ServiceNow, a digital workflow company. The updated collaboration involves the Genpacy Source-to-Pay solution, which uses ServiceNow’s AI capabilities to help teams improve productivity, simplify user experiences, increase cost efficiencies, and deliver Source-to-Pay applications across finance and supply chain operations. Companies can also use the offering to identify, understand, and extract data from finance and supply chain documents, even if the documents use different formats or templates.<\/p>\n Jobber, an operations management software for home service businesses, has appointed Amy Shapero, a global finance veteran, to its board of directors as Audit Committee Chair. Shapero brings years of finance, strategy, and operating experience in mission-driven, high-growth companies and most recently served as CFO at Shopify. Sam Pillar, the CEO and co-founder of Jobber, says, “We’re thrilled to welcome Amy to our Board as we continue our mission to help the people in small business be successful and enter our next phase of growth.”<\/p>\n Logility, a prescriptive supply chain planning solution provider, has announced the delivery of its generative AI capabilities, which will extend the company’s “AI-first approach” to supply chain management. With this GenAI offering, Logility users can improve productivity by providing users with actionable insights that help them accelerate supply chain decision-making, increase access to relevant information, bridge departmental silos, remove decision latency, and move from sequential processes to more fluid processes.<\/p>\n Progress, an infrastructure software provider, has announced the latest release of Progress OpenEdge, an application development platform designed to help global companies simplify the delivery of mission-critical business applications. The updates available in OpenEdge 12.8 will allow organizations to optimize their development processes, enhance application security, improve database performance, and stay current with the evolving technology landscape.<\/p>\n Sensos, a proactive supply chain management solution provider, has raised $20 million in a successful Series A funding round. The funding was led by Mitsui-backed Magenta Venture Partners, who JAL Ventures also joined. Israel Cargo Logistics and Sumitomo Corporation also contributed.
