Cyberhaven Raises $100 Million in a Series D Funding Round

Cyberhaven, an AI-powered data security provider, has raised $100 million in a Series D funding round. The round was led by StepStone Group with support from new investors Schroders and Industry Ventures. Cyberhaven will use the investment to further accelerate its growth and position in the AI-powered data protection marketplace. It will also focus on expanding its platform through M&A and organic innovation, increase its market reach through aggressive go-to-market investments, and continue its mission to protect its clients’ sensitive data.

Delinea and Microsoft Partner to Help Companies Adopt Delinea’s PCCE Solution

Delinea, a company focused on securing human and machine identities through centralized authorization, has partnered with Microsoft to help Microsoft Entra Permissions Management customers ensure they have continued access to advanced Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) capabilities. With Microsoft Entra Permissions Management scheduled for retirement on October 1, 2025, the partnership will help users transition to Delinea’s Privilege Control for Cloud Entitlements (PCCE) solution by providing them with the guidance they need to maximize the capabilities of Delinea’s PCCE.

Entrust and Docusign Share Results From a Study on Identity Fraud

Entrust, a global identity-centric security solution provider, and Docusign have released the results from their joint global study that examines the escalating costs of identity fraud and the trade-offs enterprises face between security and customer experience. Some of the findings in the Future of Global Identity Verification research report include data on how identity fraud is a growing threat globally, with over two-thirds of organizations reporting increased fraud attempts. Additionally, while 58 percent of respondents have concerns that stricter fraud controls will frustrate consumers, the vast majority recognize the benefits of identity verification (IDV) investments.

FusionAuth and Cloudelligent Reveal the Findings From Their State of Homegrown Authentication Report

FusionAuth, a Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform provider, and Cloudelligent, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, have released their inaugural State of Homegrown Authentication Report: 2025. The report’s findings reveal a clear divide between what DIY authentication teams want and need versus what the dominant multi-tenant SaaS CIAM market offers. For example, at least 50 percent of self-hosted authentication teams prefer downloadable software over cloud-only solutions. This preference reflects a desire for greater control over deployment environments.

HaystackID Expands its READI Suite with a New Email Capability

HaystackID, a specialized data services company, has enhanced its Remote Endpoint Analysis and Data Intelligence (READI) Suite with the availability of READI for Email. This new offering uses a “triage-first approach” to help investigators pinpoint critical email artifacts and make it easier to preview and analyze email metadata—including sender, recipient, subject, timestamps, and IP logs. READI for Email can currently streamline investigative processes on leading email platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365, with expansions planned to include additional cloud platforms.
