The CISO’s AI Priority List: What Changes and What Doesn’t
Grant Yacomeni, Chief Information Security Officer at Gigamon, has offered some insights on how a CISO’s priority list should (and shouldn’t) change. Those policies are important, but policy alone is not governance.”
What a Cybersecurity Market Map Should Tell You, and What It Can’t
“A cybersecurity market map can turn a crowded vendor landscape into something buyers can navigate. Instead of sorting through overlapping product categories, technical acronyms, and competing claims, security leaders get a consolidated view of the market: who participates, how providers are grouped, and where to begin an evaluation. That perspective is useful. It is also incomplete.”

CrowdStrike to Acquire Fiddler AI
CrowdStrike, the global cybersecurity company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Fiddler AI, which will add AI agent observability and explainability to its Falcon platform. Fiddler’s acquisition allows CrowdStrike to further support pre-deployment evaluation, production monitoring, decision tracing, and audit evidence, helping enterprises assess whether agents follow instructions and operate within policy. CrowdStrike plans to offer the technology as Falcon Observe, with general availability and the acquisition’s closing expected in its fourth quarter of fiscal 2027.
CrowdStrike and Dynatrace Detail a Strategic Partnership
CrowdStrike and Dynatrace have announced a strategic partnership with three integrations that connect the Falcon security platform to Dynatrace’s observability and log management capabilities. Available now, the integrations let security teams search Dynatrace telemetry from Falcon without duplicating data, combine endpoint security signals with application and infrastructure insights, and route logs through Bindplane by Dynatrace.
Cyara Launches an Agentic CX Trust Platform
Cyara, the AI trust company for customer experience, has launched its Agentic CX Trust Platform, combining pre-deployment testing, customer journey monitoring, and production observability for human and AI agents. Its central addition, AI Trust Observability, evaluates every live AI conversation against an enterprise’s quality standards and compliance policies, rather than sampling interactions. Additionally, configurable scorecards address requirements for frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, and the EU AI Act.
Cynet Adds AI Governance and Identity Security Capabilities
Cynet, an AI attack path management solution, has expanded its Unified Attack Path Management platform to include AI Security and Identity Security capabilities for security teams and managed service providers. Available in beta to selected customers and partners, the additions identify AI applications and agents, distinguish approved from unapproved tools, assess exposure, and generate governance recommendations and reports. A centralized identity view will also bring together authentication activity, user context, risk signals, and identity threat detection alerts.
Doppel Acquires PropRise
Doppel, a Frontier AI Social Engineering Defense (SED) platform, has acquired PropRise, a Y Combinator-backed technology company. As part of the acquisition, PropRise co-founders Jean-Michael Diei and Matthew Krager will join Doppel’s engineering organization. This will help Doppel further expand its AI-driven Social Engineering Defense platform, which combines digital risk protection, human risk management, and email security.
Keeper Security Introduces the Self-Managed Keeper Solution
Keeper Security, a zero-trust and zero-knowledge identity security platform, has introduced Self-Managed Keeper, a self-hosted deployment option for privileged access management in environments where external cloud connectivity is restricted or prohibited. The offering provides credential, secrets, and privileged session management on customer-controlled infrastructure, including private clouds, on-premises systems, and fully air-gapped operational technology networks.
TrueFoundry Extends Okta Identity Policies to AI Agents
TrueFoundry, an enterprise AI control plane, has added support for Okta’s Cross App Access protocol, allowing AI agents using its AI Gateway to operate under existing workforce identity policies. The integration replaces static API keys with short-lived, task-scoped tokens tied to a user’s active Okta identity, with revocation and audit logging. The integration is available through the Okta Integration Network; Cross App Access through Agent SSO is included in Okta workforce SSO plans.
Veriff Releases a Presence Verification Capability
Veriff, an enterprise identity verification platform, has launched Presence Verification to assess whether a real person is present and participating freely during a digital interaction. The capability combines liveness and deepfake detection with full-session audio and video analysis, device signals, and cross-session fraud intelligence. Customers integrate via iOS and Android SDKs, initiate sessions via a REST API, and receive automated decisions via a webhook.
