Identity Automation Acquires Enboard for Education Identity Security

Identity Automation today announced its acquisition of Enboard. The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed to the public. According to a press release from Identity Automation, both providers share a history providing identity security in the education marketplace.

Enboard provides automated user account management, single sign-on, and secure encryption capabilities for the education market. Additionally, it offers smart provisioning and enhanced authentication through a centralized cross-platform federation.    

Meanwhile, Identity Automation offers the RapidIdentity Identity & Access Management platform. As such, it provides automated lifecycle management, multifactor authentication, and identity governance capabilities. Further capabilities include password management and privileged access management for enterprises. Additionally, it provides distinct identity security solutions for healthcare, government, and education organizations.    

The deal increases Identity’s Automation footprint in the education identity management market. It aims through its acquisition to offer combined product and service offerings to provide a streamlined IAM solution balancing usability and security.
