One Identity, a unified identity security solution provider, has launched Safeguard 8.0 Long-Term Support (LTS), a release that aims to elevate new standards in security, compliance, and cloud-native integration for its Safeguard platform. Safeguard 8.0 is designed to help companies align with Zero Trust principles, support DevOps integration, enhance operational efficiencies, and equip users with advanced security features, all delivered through a seamless user experience. Orca Security Expands its DSPM Capabilities with Support for Snowflake

Orca Security, an agentless cloud security, has announced a significant expansion of its Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities with support for Snowflake.  With this update, the Orca Cloud Security platform can detect and alert customers to sensitive data in Snowflake data lakes, all from the same platform used to secure their cloud provider environments. Once Orca is connected to a Snowflake database, its agentless SideScanning technology can search for sensitive information with over ninety built-in data classifiers. Support for Snowflake in the Orca Cloud Security Platform is available now in beta per customer request.

Silverfort, a unified identity security company, has launched Privileged Access Security (PAS), a new way for companies to secure privileged accounts. This solution is designed to discover, classify, and protect privileged accounts end-to-end, all while operating from within Silverfort’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) infrastructure. Silverfort’s PAS offering comes equipped with capabilities for automating privileged account discovery and classification, enforcing Least Privilege to prevent ransomware propagation, implementing frictionless Just-In-Time (JIT) access at scale, and expediting the deployment process.

SonicWall and CrowdStrike Announce a Joint Solution for SMBs

SonicWall and CrowdStrike, two cybersecurity solution providers, have announced details on their new Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offering. Together, the companies aim to bring enterprise-grade security to SMBs. Their MDR offering combines SonicWall’s Managed Security Services (MSS) with the EDR capabilities from the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike chief business officer, says. “Together, we are providing MSPs with the solutions to deliver scalable, effective AI-powered cybersecurity that is easy to deploy and tailored to the unique needs of SMBs. Tenable, an exposure management company, has announced several new vulnerability intelligence, risk prioritization, and web application scanning features for its Tenable Security Center solution.
