Opal Security, a company specializing in access governance and identity security, has appointed Howard Ting as its Chief Executive Officer. With his years of experience at companies like Redis, Nutanix, and Palo Alto Networks, Ting will help Opal Security scale its AI-native access governance and identity security platform as customers adopt AI agents and automated workflows. He will support the company as it expands its platform capabilities, strengthens customer partnerships, and scales operations to meet growing global demand. Ting will also be joining Opal Security’s board of directors.
Prove Debuts ProveX Digital Trust Exchange For Shared Identity
Prove, a digital identity company, has launched ProveX, a digital trust exchange designed to let enterprises tap verified identity data and credentials from partners without repeatedly re-verifying users. Built on Prove’s tokenized identity framework, ProveX will link a reusable Prove ID with a device-bound cryptographic key, creating a persistent, privacy-preserving identity anchor across Web2, Web3, and agentic environments. ProveX is now available to Prove customers and partners seeking instant distribution of their compliance, fraud, and data services through a unified identity layer.
Veeam Completes Its Acquisition of Securiti AI
Veeam, a data resilience company, has completed its $1.725 billion acquisition of Securiti AI. The combination will combine Veeam’s Data Resilience platform with Securiti AI’s advanced data security, governance, and AI Trust platform to create a unified Data Platform for seeing, securing, governing, and recovering data at AI speed. Rehan Jalil, Securiti AI’s founder and CEO, will also join Veeam as president of security and AI. He says, “Together, we will empower customers with a unified command center to understand, secure, recover, and unlock the full potential of their entire data estate.”
1Kosmos Releases Its Platform on the Saviynt Exchange
1Kosmos, an identity proofing and passwordless authentication company, has announced the availability of its platform on the Saviynt Exchange, Saviynt’s marketplace of pre-built integrations and solutions. With the integration of 1Kosmos within the Saviynt Identity Cloud, enterprise customers can experience new levels of assurance, automation, and efficiency. Additional benefits include real-time biometric identity proofing, automatic re-verification of identities, and out-of-the-box deployment for faster time-to-value.
