Apono Updates its Cloud Access Platform with New Protections
Apono, a leader in privileged access for the cloud, has updated the Apono Cloud Access Platform with new functionalities designed to automatically discover and revoke standing access to resources in cloud environments. authID and Zendesk Announce a New Integration
authID, a biometric identity verification and authentication solution provider, has announced an integration with Zendesk, a customer experience company. The integration will bring authID’s Proof and Verified products to Zendesk’s suite of customer support offerings, helping companies increase their account security, reduce fraud, and continue to provide memorable service to Zendesk users. The investment was led by Accel and Sapphire Ventures, with additional participation from Sequoia, Redpoint, Coatue, and Georgia. These funds bring Cyera’s total valuation to $3 billion, an over twofold increase in six months. KnowBe4, a cybersecurity platform for addressing human risk management, has announced HRM+, an “all-in-one” platform for making human risk management more personalized, relevant, and adaptive to the AI era. HRM+ is based on KnowBe4’s recent acquisition of Egress, which allowed KnowBe4 to combine its security awareness training with Egress’s AI-powered email security. With HRM+, companies can access security awareness training, email security, anti-phishing, real-time coaching, AI defense agents, and compliance training from a single platform.
MetaRouter Releases its Identity Resolution Features on Google Cloud
MetaRouter, a server-side tag management and customer data infrastructure provider, has announced that its identity resolution features are now available for Google Cloud customers. This means that joint customers can sync external customer IDs and GA4 and BigQuery, Google Cloud’s GenAI-ready data platform. Semperis Reveals the Findings From its 2024 Ransomware Holiday Risk Report
Semperis, an identity-driven cyber resilience provider, has published the results of a global ransomware study that showcases some striking gaps in ransomware defenses, specifically related to reduced security staffing during holidays and weekends. Other findings from the 2024 Ransomware Holiday Risk Report show that 86 percent of surveyed organizations in the U.S., UK, France, and Germany that were attacked were targeted on a holiday or weekend, with 85 percent—and 90 percent in the U.S.—of those companies reporting reduce security staffing during those periods.
