OPSWAT, a critical infrastructure protection (CIP) cybersecurity solution provider, is showcasing its new AI Content Inspector, a proprietary engine for content authenticity and document fraud detection, at GISEC Global 2026. The engine, which integrates with the MetaDefender platform for cloud and on-premises deployments, uses specialized classifiers to detect AI-generated images, manipulated documents, and other indicators of fraud. To that end, Proofpoint Prism Investigator now connects directly to Microsoft 365 for AI-driven investigations, while Proofpoint Human Communications Intelligence (HCI) agents incorporate AI communications governance signals into insider risk investigations.

Proofpoint Announces an SOC Analyst Agent

Proofpoint also recently announced the Proofpoint SOC Analyst Agent, an agentic AI capability to help security teams investigate threats faster across Proofpoint security data. Specifically, the SOC Analyst Agent will integrate OpenAI Daybreak models into Proofpoint investigation workflows, turning natural-language questions into structured, traceable findings and recommended next steps. The SOC Analyst Agent is currently in private preview with select beta customers.
