Identity and Access Management solution provider OneLogin today announced their new Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) product OneLogin Access. The new product is designed to allow enterprises large and small to enforce access management for traditional on-premises applications, such as Oracle, and cloud-based application via a singular IDaaS solution. This represents a first in solution innovation and unity, according to OneLogin.

IAM Solution Suggestion Engine

According to their press release, OneLogin Access offers a single pane, integrated interface for access management. The cloud application security capabilities feature modern architecture with cloud-managed gateways, modern identity integrations, and SIEM tools. Enterprises can modify employee and privileged user permissions across their applications, servers, and networks in real time. The solution uses a SaaS infrastructure to synchronize all corporate users, and features a design meant to cut management costs in half.

In a statement, OneLogin CEO Brad Brooks said: “Never has it been more critical — or more complex — to securely manage access across the explosion of distributed applications, data, and intelligence. Our Unified Access Management Platform featuring OneLogin Access is purpose-built for hybrid customer environments. Historically, a customer’s only option was building a cumbersome, multi-vendor, prohibitively expensive solution. That all changes today.”

According to technology research firm Gartner, by 2020 even small enterprises’ IAM programs will reach 1 million people and 10 million things internal and external, all of which will require secured access. According to Garrett Bekker, Principal Security Analyst at 451 Research: “It’s becoming clear for many organizations that hybrid IT is more than a temporary transitional phase, it’s actually an end state. To manage this hybrid reality, IT professionals must seek solutions to manage application access across both legacy on-prem and cloud environments to be truly effective.”

OneLogin Access is available now. Implementation blueprints and best practice guides are available for developers or it is available via strategic go-to-market partners such as Wipro for implementation.
