{"id":1082,"date":"2016-05-19T13:30:58","date_gmt":"2016-05-19T17:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/?p=1082"},"modified":"2016-05-19T14:32:32","modified_gmt":"2016-05-19T18:32:32","slug":"european-it-security-leaders-set-increase-iam-spending-study-shows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/european-it-security-leaders-set-increase-iam-spending-study-shows\/","title":{"rendered":"European IT Security Leaders Set to Increase IAM Spending, Study Shows"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1084\" src=\"https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/files\/2016\/05\/cloudgrowth.jpg\" alt=\"cloudgrowth\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/files\/2016\/05\/cloudgrowth.jpg 600w, https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/files\/2016\/05\/cloudgrowth-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/files\/2016\/05\/cloudgrowth-540x270.jpg 540w, https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/files\/2016\/05\/cloudgrowth-162x81.jpg 162w, https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/identity-management\/files\/2016\/05\/cloudgrowth-360x180.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>If you\u2019ve been following our site or InfoSec news in general, then you\u2019re probably aware of the recent groundswell of interest in Identity and Access Management (IAM).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It\u2019s common knowledge that companies and governments around the world are seeing increased value in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solutions, and now a new study has reaffirmed that position.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">93% of European IT security leaders plan to maintain or \u00a0increase spending on IAM in the next three years, according to a recent study conducted by market research firm Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) and KuppingerCole.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Conducted in March 2016, PAC\u2019s \u00a0report polled senior IT and security executives at 200 businesses across continental Europe and the UK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">42% of those polled claimed that they will increase their investment in IAM in 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On the question of how they\u2019d like their IAM service delivered, 72% of respondents thought that IAM should be \u201ca platform to security new digital services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">So what\u2019s the motivation for all of this growth? When questioned on the primary goals of their IAM strategies, 48% of respondents said that\u00a0threat\u00a0or breach-mitigation was very important, and an additional 46% cited improved customer experience as a driving factor.
