Maropost announced in mid-January that it had acquired Retail Express for $55 million in total considerations. Retail Express is an Australian and New Zealand software provider for mid-market and enterprise-level retail companies. The platform includes point-of-sale (POS), order fulfillment, inventory management, and reporting features. The acquisition will help Maropost continue to expand its platform with the functionalities commerce merchants need to manage their core tech stack from a single platform.


Salesforce Reveals New Digital Intelligence Tools for Connecting Marketing and Commerce Data

Salesforce announced the release of new digital intelligence tools designed to help companies connect their commerce and marketing data and provide additional insights into customer relationships, ROI, and revenue data. The new integrations include Datorama and Tableau Connectors to help e-commerce professionals and marketers better understand the relationship between marketing campaigns and sales, equip them with a new out-of-the-box data model, and more.


Upland Software Announces its Acquisition of Objectif Lune

Upland Software announced on January 10th that it had acquired Objectif Lune, an enterprise software provider focused on document composition and business communication automation. The acquisition will help Upland expand its global document workflow product library with new capabilities for modernizing paper-based documents for large-volume print production and automated deliveries across email, web, and mobile platforms.
