Although BlackBerry hasn\u2019t been making waves in the smartphone community in recent years, the Canadian mobility giant has been focusing on developing more advanced multiplatform EMM solutions, something Good Technology is currently a leader in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Although this isn\u2019t set in stone, BlackBerry expects to close the deal as soon as November and is looking to turn a profit right away. Good Technology has always done well in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.good.com\/forms\/gartner-magic-quadrant-2015.html?cid=70116000000TKKz\" target=\"_blank\">Gartner Magic Quadrant<\/a>\u00a0and have been a leader in the EMM and MDM space for years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Good Technology CEO\u00a0Christy Wyatt says, &#8220;As I am sure you have heard by now, Good is about to enter into the next exciting chapter of our journey as\u00a0<a class=\"jive-link-external-small\" href=\"https:\/\/www1.good.com\/about\/press-releases\/BlackBerry-to-Acquire-Good-Technology.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">we join BlackBerry<\/a> in the coming weeks. BlackBerry in the past has taken Good Technology press releases where Good presents themselves to be a step up from BlackBerry, and marked it up with their version of the story.\u00a0 Theses releases can be seen <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.blackberry.com\/2015\/01\/not-so-fast-good\/?linkId=11954371\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/rimblogs.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/07\/blackberry-fact-check-good-technology-comparison.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This is a very exciting move in the MDM and EMM world as this acquisition could seriously make waves in the industry.
