And does it control which applications are installed and provide protection against non-approved apps?<\/p>\n

The checklist also provides several capabilities you\u2019ll want to ensure your solution features, including support for all the user segments and groups within your organization, a single and unified console, and the ability to enable all the ownership models you may need it to, such as bring your own device (BYOD), corporate owned-personally enabled (COPE), and choose your own device (CYOD).<\/p>\n

And if you\u2019re having a tough time controlling costs when it comes to mobility, BlackBerry says the right UEM platform can help save money. The vendor reported that the following three things could allow an organization<\/a> to save over 60 percent when simplifying mobility management with BlackBerry UEM:<\/p>\n

Fewer components<\/strong><\/p>\n

BlackBerry reported that a simplified infrastructure leads to faster deployment along with fewer hardware components and less maintenance.<\/p>\n

Robust security<\/strong><\/p>\n

Having tight security means you won\u2019t have to pay for VPN connections and concentrators, BlackBerry reported.<\/p>\n

A single vendor<\/strong><\/p>\n

With UEM, a business will only need one solution to manage all of its operating systems.<\/p>\n

However, cost is not the only factor\u00a0to consider when implementing a new product. BlackBerry reported that security, scalability and ease of use are also vital to weigh before making a decision.<\/p>\n
