Pavel Minarik

Pavel Minarik is the Vice President of Technology at Progress, where he is responsible for the overarching technology strategy and architecture of the company’s Enterprise Application Experience products. With two decades of experience, Pavel specializes in network architectures, network monitoring, flow processing, deep packet inspection, network security, software architectures, database architectures, and conceptual modeling. Pavel has participated in several research and development projects about network traffic monitoring, analysis, and cybersecurity. He is the author of more than 10 publications regarding behavior analysis and several algorithms for traffic processing and anomaly detection, summarized in his Ph.D. thesis, “Building a System for Network Security Monitoring.” Pavel holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Masaryk University Faculty of Informatics in Czechia.
