Dr. Renée Burton is a DNS (Domain Name System) expert who has spent over two decades focused on cybersecurity with the NSA (National Security Agency) and now Infoblox. She is an avid believer in DNS as both an important control point within a network and a source to hunt threats that escape the perimeter devices. Throughout her career, Dr. Burton has been involved in NSA programs as an individual contributor, strategist, and leader of data science and computer science research programs. At Infoblox, she leads the Threat Intelligence team and is responsible for helping protect customers from malware and other attacks before they can enter the network. Dr. Burton holds a Ph.D. in mathematics and was elevated to the US Government Senior Executive Service in 2005.
