Security BSides

Date: March 28 (Atlanta) and May 1st (Knoxville)

Location: Virtual (and Virtual)

Description: Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members; there are multiple BSides conferences throughout the year. Two of the most upcoming ones, in Atlanta and Knoxville, are now virtual. BSides work to provide networking and educational opportunities for security professionals.

Oktane Live (Okta)

Date: April 1-April 2 (Pre-Conference Training March 30 -March 31)

Location: Virtual

Description: Oktane Live will offer keynotes, speakers, training, dozens of breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and ancillary programs online, and will give attendees the opportunity to interact with sponsors virtually as well. The virtual event is available to anyone, free of charge. Topics include the latest in identity, security, and digital transformation.

Description: This conference offers opportunities, through training, workshops, and keynotes to learn more about computer security, hacking, malware research, and electronics. Topics include authentication, and cyber competition, as well as creating cybersecurity datasets.

Date: April 21-April 23 (Dates tentative, possibly postponed)

Location: Virtual

Description: This conference, which is undergoing the transition to virtual-only for 2020, specializes in higher education identity security. It gives participants the opportunity to network and discuss information security and privacy trends and issues. Topics include information security, privacy, and risk management innovations.

Date: May 3-May 7

Location: Virtual

Description: While Dell has not yet released the details of its now-virtual cybersecurity event, the event promises a mix of lectures, panels, and demos designed to help solve your unique technical challenges. Additionally, it looks like it features a range of specialized programs designed for both the intensely technical and the more pragmatic.
