Additionally, the research indicates how enterprises are preparing their workplaces for when vaccinations make remote work more optional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bitglass offers businesses cloud security platforms. It provides a secure access service edge offering with a cloud access security broker (CASB). Moreover, Bitglass offers businesses an on-device secure web gateway and zero-trust network access as part of their cloud security platforms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Remote Workforce Security Report, 79 percent express concern about the security risks introduced by implementing remote work for a full year. 71 percent note that their organizations will probably switch to cloud-enabled tools to facilitate remote work. Unfortunately, only 38 percent state that <\/span>securing<\/span><\/i> those cloud resources remains a top priority.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

About 53 percent of enterprises plan to make some of their positions permanently remote in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, 90 percent plan to continue work-from-home in the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anurag Kahol, CTO of Bitglass, gave a statement with the release of the report. \u201cEnabling the modern workforce requires more flexible IT ecosystems and calls for increased reliance on the cloud, as well as cloud security tools. As we look ahead to what work will be like after COVID-19, there will be a need for a mixed IT and security environment as people will work both on and off-premises. Embracing the cloud is critical for enabling this and should happen sooner rather than later.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
