According to the report, to comply with difficult-to-follow employment law, employers are benefitting from the maturation of highly capable single-suit options for WFM in the cloud.

Analysts Barba Z. Peck and Brent Skinner developed the WFM Value Matrix report, which involves a graph image similar to Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, with four main categories – Leaders, Experts, Facilitators and Core Providers. From there, the analysts provide more details and an in-depth profile for every vendor appearing in the 2017 WFM Value Matrix. The report also evaluates each vendor based on functionality found in its solutions and the usability of them.

Here at Solutions Review, we have listed some key takeaways from the report below:

Key Takeaways

—-> SumTotal Systems, the leading provider of talent management solutions, has been recognized as a Leader in the report. This is due in part to the recent advancements made to their SumTotal Talent Expansion Suite, but most importantly, with their workforce management enhancements. According to Skinner, SumTotal has created the technology to bring workforce management together with talent, learning, and recruitment into one platform.

“This brings a compelling proposition to the market by delivering all of the Human Capital Management components together on a single, united Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform,” Skinner adds.

—-> Infor also made it in the Leaders quadrant. WFM from Infor delivers the core functions focused on workforce planning. These include labor cost controls, enhanced operating efficiencies, time and attendance, scheduling, task management and more.

—–> ADP remains a Leader in the WFM Value Matrix with its multiple solutions for HCM that ADP offers (delivered via SaaS in a multitenant cloud). These solutions include: Vantage HCM, Workforce Now and ADP RUN.
