Analyst house Gartner Inc. has released its newest research highlighting five emerging solution providers that Human Capital Management (HCM) leaders should consider as compliments to their existing architectures. Cool Vendors in Human Capital Management: Transforming Talent to Drive the Digital Workplace, 2019 features information on startups that offer some disruptive capability or opportunity not common to the marketplace. Gartner analysts John Kostoulas, Helen Poitevin, Jason Cerrato, Amanda Grainger, Ranadip Chandra, and Ron Hanscome compiled the materials for this report.

Faethm

Faethm’s AI analytics Software as a Service (SaaS) platform combines proprietary analytics with client data to predict the impact of emerging technology on jobs, workforces, companies, industries, locations, or economies. The solution enables organizations to validate and prioritize digital transformation agendas, re-skill employees for the future, develop better strategies and policies, and make better-informed investment decisions.

ProFinda

Built on artificial intelligence, ProFinda’s solution can index and ingest data to create and automate employee profiles. The platform then becomes an intelligent directory that enables employees to ask questions and identify the best people who can assist them with their operations. All interactions can be validated through a peer-to-peer reward system, which creates an incentive for employees to share knowledge.

WorkJam

WorkJam’s HCM solution provides shift management capabilities, which delivers a method to manage shift trades and cancellations that managers must deal with on a day-to-day basis. Employees are enabled to manage their schedules through their mobile devices, allowing employers to promote collaboration between managers and staff. This simplifies making schedule changes overall. The platform also offers task management, messaging, and training functionalities.
