AI can barely recommend a decent Netflix show without making you question your life choices.<\/p>\n<p>\u274cData Mesh Mania: You thought breaking silos would solve all your problems? Now you\u2019ve got a thousand tiny data silos all fighting like rival school kids. You didn\u2019t solve the problem, you just made them moan more and they just got more annoying.<\/p>\n<p>\u274cData Democratisation Delusion: I\u2019m all for everyone getting a shot, but giving Dave in Sales access to data is like handing your toddler the keys to your car. It\u2019s not gonna end well for anyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u274cPowerPoint Strategies: 350 page slide decks? I see that\u2019s how you torture people without breaking the Geneva Convention. Nobody cares. Get to the point.<\/p>\n<p>\u274cAI \u201cCenters of Excellence\u201d: Sounds important, doesn\u2019t it? But we all know it\u2019s just a fancy name for a meeting room where ideas go to die.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s IN in 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2705Use-Case First Therapy: You know what 2025 is about? Fixing real problems. Start with something broken, like your processes, not your ego, and go from there.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Data Diets: Stop hoarding all that useless data like it\u2019s Pok\u00e9mon cards. If it doesn\u2019t make you money or save you money, toss it faster than yesterday\u2019s dodgy kebab.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Operating Models with Swagger: Your data strategy doesn\u2019t need to be boring. Think less \u201cboardroom suit\u201d and more \u201cJames Bond in a tuxedo, martini in hand, ready to save the day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Spaghetti-Free Data: You call this a data architecture? This is just spaghetti on a plate with extra sauce. Untangle that mess before the whole thing collapses.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 AI That Pays Rent: If your AI isn\u2019t bringing in value, it\u2019s not a tool, it\u2019s a freeloader. Kick it out and tell it to get a job.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 \u201cKeep it Real\u201d Metrics: Nobody wants to see your fluffy KPIs anymore. If it doesn\u2019t help you make money or stop wasting it, keep it out of my face.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 The Rise of the Data \u201cFixer\u201d: Every org needs one. Someone who walks in like, \u201cAlright, what\u2019s broken, who broke it, and how do I fix it before I lose my mind?\u201d Be that person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My 2025 Quote<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Your data and AI strategy doesn\u2019t need to be complicated, it needs to work.
