Teacher! Leave us kids alone!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While the song is a commentary on institutional authoritarianism, it is also relevant to today\u2019s AI revolution and its opportunity for unified thought control.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paradoxically, \u201cWe don\u2019t need no education\u201d is\u00a0<strong>a warning and a response to AI\u2019s wide-ranging human impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This insight is cleverly reinforced when these lines are initially sung by Pink Floyd\u2019s Roger Waters and David Gilmour. These lines represent a sinister, centralized, authoritarian point of view of AI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When repeated by the student choir from Islington Green School, these lines take on a different meaning, representing the independence and individualism that AI might afford us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Count me in the latter camp, where humans take control of their destinies by optimizing their capability to understand, use, and be relevant in the age of AI.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How to Stay Relevant in the Age of AI<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Being relevant in the age of AI requires new knowledge, skills, and ways of thinking.
