BARC Study Links Enterprise Context Engineering Maturity To AI Leadership
A BARC study sponsored by DataHub found that organizations with mature context-engineering practices are four times more likely to qualify as AI leaders: 49% of “context leaders” met that threshold, versus 12% of other respondents. The survey of 285 data, AI, IT, and business stakeholders identified data integration, orchestration, retrieval, federated metadata, prompt engineering, and semantic layers as core elements, while data quality and preparation remained the leading obstacle to reliable agentic AI.

Boomi Launches Vendor-Neutral Agent Control Plane For Governed Enterprise AI
Boomi has introduced its Agent Control Plane, a platform layer designed to govern agents, tools, models, data access, and token spending across public cloud, customer VPC, and on-premises environments. Broadcom Combines Private AI, Agent Governance, And Traditional Workloads On VMware Cloud Foundation
Broadcom has introduced VMware Private AI Cloud, a VMware Cloud Foundation-based platform for operating AI inference, agentic applications, containers, and traditional enterprise workloads in the same private-cloud environment where data resides. The platform includes VMware AI Factory to automate infrastructure-to-model deployment, AgentMinder for agent discovery and governance, AI cost monitoring and model routing features, and support for more than 150 models—positioning private infrastructure as a controlled alternative for data-sensitive AI deployments.

Databricks Publishes Production Playbook For Operating And Governing AI Agents
Databricks has released The Big Book of AgentOps, a practical guide to moving AI agents from pilots into repeatable, production-ready systems. Gartner Finds Only 22% Of Organizations Have Scaled AI Across Business Units
Gartner reports that just 22% of organizations have scaled AI initiatives across multiple business units, indicating that most enterprises remain caught between experimentation and enterprise-wide operational deployment. The gap highlights that technical access to models is not enough: organizations also need reliable data, business-process redesign, governance, skills, leadership alignment, and measurable value realization to turn pilots into repeatable AI capabilities.

Institute Of Foundation Models Releases Fully Reproducible AI Model Fleet From Edge To Enterprise
The Institute of Foundation Models has launched K2 Horizon, a six-model portfolio ranging from 0.9 billion to 375 billion parameters, with weights, code, training data, methodologies, evaluations, and deployment tooling released under Apache 2.0. The portfolio includes small models intended for on-device use, 32B and 36B sparse options for local or on-premises inference, and a 375B model for enterprise reasoning and agentic workloads; IFM also says a dynamic router selects the most cost-effective model for each task.

SAS And IDC Find Trusted AI Practices Separate High-ROI Enterprises From The Rest
SAS’ second annual Data and AI Impact Report, with research insights from IDC, found organizations investing in trustworthy AI practices are 15 times more likely to report strong AI ROI—62% versus 4% among less mature peers. The global survey of 2,699 decision-makers also found that 97.2% of users override AI recommendations in some cases, primarily when systems cannot explain their decisions, and only 17.5% of enterprises have data infrastructure mature enough for agentic AI; organizations with optimized data foundations were four times more likely to expect strong AI returns.

Teradata Connects Its Enterprise AI Platform Directly To Microsoft OneLake

Tealium Gives AI Agents Governed Access To Customer Data And Configuration Workflows
Tealium has expanded its agentic capabilities with Configuration MCP, Tealium Studio, and new platform APIs, enabling MCP-compatible agents and developers to analyze, configure, and activate governed customer-data workflows. Agents can create or modify audiences, attributes, enrichments, and activation processes, but proposed changes remain in draft until reviewed and approved; Tealium Studio also provides a natural-language interface for tracing data flows, recommending actions, and proposing configurations.

Wonderful Raises $550 Million To Expand AI Agent Platform And Deployment Services
Amsterdam-based Wonderful has raised a $550 million Series C at a $5 billion valuation, led by Insight Partners with participation from Salesforce, Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer. Its platform supports agent development, version control, rollback, A/B testing, A2A-based multi-agent workflows, and an AI gateway that dynamically routes requests across language models while enforcing team policies and monitoring cost and access patterns; the company will use the funding for product development and international forward-deployed engineering expansion.
