Sisense announced the release of Sisense Extense Framework, a new innovation aimed at delivering AI analytics directly within applications. As part of the unveiling, Sisense is also introducing new infusion applications built on the Extense Framework. Currently available infusion applications on the Sisense Marketplace include ones for Slack, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Chrome. The news comes on the heels of Sisense’s launch of Sisense Fusion AI-driven analytics in February.
Sisense makes it easy for organizations to reveal business insight from complex data in any size, and from any source. Sisense allows users to combine data and uncover insights in a single interface without scripting, coding or assistance from IT. Its BI and analytics platform is sold as a single-stack solution with a back end for preparing and modeling data. It also features expansive analytical capabilities and a front-end for dashboarding and visualization.
The Sisense Extense Framework makes it easier for customers to use Sisense as their analytical engine infused into any workflow or business application. The offering will be released to all customers and partners interested in building their own infusion apps later in 2021.
In a media statement on the news, Sisense Chief Product Officer Ashley Kramer said: “Sisense continues to challenge the status quo by innovating on new ways to approach analytics in a seamless and guided way. Customers will no longer need to adjust their workflow or leave what they’re doing to search for insights in dashboards alone. Now, any business user can go about their day-to-day activities in their favorite applications where analytics will be infused directly where they are working to impact everyday decisions.”
