Phocas Software recently announced the release of Phocas Budgeting and Forecasting, a new solution for mid-market organizations. Phocas Budgeting and Forecasting features built-in forecasting which lets finance teams view past financial, sales and purchasing information at a granular level. The product also enables users to combine disparate data and budgets from one source of information. The release comes on the heels of the company’s January funding round worth $45 million.
Phocas Software offers a cloud-based business intelligence and data analytics solution for the manufacturing, distribution, and retail industries. The product consolidates essential business data from common ERP, CRM, and AP/AR systems to generate organizational insights and financial performance through historical and predictive analysis. The vendor operates on a core philosophy that enables end-users to track and report on essential KPIs and metrics that are specific to role and industry. Users can also customize reports to meet their unique needs.
Other key features present in Phocas Budget and Forecasting include built-in workflow tools that allow subject-matter experts to engage in the process, worksheets to help navigate the budget add commentary to cells, and provide visibility to changes in real-time, and access to non-financial and operational data already in ERP or other transactional systems. There’s also a self-service add-on to Phocas Business Intelligence and Phocas Financial Statements that integrates with an array of the best ERP systems.
