Pipedrive has announced that two new sales documentation features are coming to its CRM platform. These features, titled Smart Docs Basics and Smart Docs Pro, will help sales and marketing teams consolidate the sales documentation process in one secure, remote place and enable users to streamline how they create, send, and manage sales-related documents.
Pipedrive is a CRM platform developed specifically for salespeople and is used by companies worldwide. The company’s CRM platform is built around activity-based selling strategies focused on scheduling, completing, and tracking sales activities. Pipedrive’s CRM comes equipped with tools for managing leads, automating tasks, monitoring communications, reporting on data, and more.
Smart Docs Basics is included as part of Pipedrive’s Advanced, Professional, and Enterprise plans. The service is designed to enable users to create templates and offline sales documents that automatically pull data from their CRM. Users will also be notified whenever a quote, proposal, or contract is received and opened by a customer. Smarts Docs Pro, meanwhile, is currently available in Pipedrive’s Professional and Enterprise plans, with an add-on coming in summer 2021 for Advanced plan users. The Pro model includes features like the cloud-based eSignature functionality, unbranded documents, and the ability to grant access to as many or as few users as required.
