Salesforce Reveals New Innovations for its Digital 360 Platform
Salesforce recently announced a new series of innovations for its Digital 360 platform, which combines Salesforce’s Marketing, Commerce, and Experience Cloud services on a single integrated platform. The updates will help Salesforce customers go digital faster and take advantage of new marketing, commerce, and digital tools and experiences. Salesforce announced the news at the opening keynote for its Connection 2021 digital event.
Salesforce provides companies across industries with CRM solutions designed to support digital transformation initiatives, create a 360° view of customers, and equip them with services like customer relationship management, customer service, marketing automation, analytics, application development, and more. With Digital 360, Salesforce helps users develop stronger customer relationships with a suite of interconnected marketing, commerce, and online experiences.
The innovations coming to Digital 360 include multiple updates and features for Marketing Cloud 360 and Commerce Cloud 360. Marketing Cloud will benefit from enhanced analytics capabilities, a new partnership with Google, integrations with Snapchat and WhatsApp, and an expanded customer data platform. Meanwhile, Commerce Cloud is expanding its offerings with a new B2B2C Commerce app, enhanced order management capabilities, and updated headless commerce features. Some of these innovations—the WhatsApp integration, CDP and analytics updates for Marketing Cloud, and order management improvements for Commerce Cloud—are available right now, with the rest expected to go live later in 2021.
