Infosys has announced the release of a new tool, the Boundaryless Data Lake. The solution offers enterprise organizations the ability to do more with their data by making it possible for them to leverage insights it provides to create new revenue models, reduce latency and improve operations via nearly real-time action.
The new Data Lake solution is powered by the company’s Information Grid Platform that runs atop Amazon Web Services. Information Grid enables universal access to data and has the ability to perform analytics pervasively in order to amplify the potential for knowledge generation.
In a statement, Infosys’s President and Head of the Americas Sandeep Dadlani spoke to the new release: “Our collaboration with AWS allows clients to fast track their data on to the cloud. The Infosys Boundaryless Data Lake offering powered by Infosys Information Grid Solution on AWS will help enterprises reduce latency, improve time to market and bring in operational efficiencies.”
