Apptio Introduces a New FinOps Solutions to Its Cloudability Product Suite

Apptio, a technology spending and value management company, has made several announcements at its Public Sector Summit 2023 event. Those announcements include the launch of Cloudability Government, a cloud financial management (FinOps) solution designed to help public sector organizations make data-driven decisions about cloud investments across cloud service providers. Apptio announced that its Cloudability product suite had achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Releases New Generative AI Capabilities

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced several innovations to its capabilities suite to help customers use generative AI in their business processes. One of these innovations is Amazon Bedrock, a service to enable customers to build and scale generative AI-based applications using Foundation Models (FMs). Another addition is Amazon’s Titan FMs, which include generative large language models (LLMs)—for text generation, content summarization, classification, open-ended Q&As, and information extraction—and an embedding LLM capable of translating text inputs into numerical representations.

Camunda Releases New Updates for its Process Orchestration Platform

Camunda, a process orchestration company, has launched Camunda Platform 8.2, introducing new integration and user experience updates designed to improve the process development lifecycle. With these updates, Camunda users can accelerate their end-to-end process orchestration efforts, drive new digital initiatives, and complete automation projects faster. The new features will also extend the platform’s pro-code capabilities to enable developers and business technologists to develop automation faster, simplify the process of building production-ready task forms, and make it easier to integrate operations with technologies like UiPath and Apache Kafka.

Gartner Releases its 2023 Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Analyst house Gartner, Inc. recently released the 2023 edition of its Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems (TMS), identifying fifteen of the marketplace’s most significant process mining vendors. The researchers behind the report—Brock Johns, Oscar Sanchez Duran, and Carly West—evaluated each listed vendor’s strengths and weaknesses and ranked them on the signature “Magic Quadrant” graph.

Newgen Software Release Three of its Products on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace

Newgen Software, a global provider of a low-code digital transformation platform, has announced that three of its products are now available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. The products—OmniDocs Contextual Content Services Platform, NewgenONE Digital Transformation Platform, and Loan Origination Software (LOS) / Digital Lending—are available now to AWS customers and can be purchased directly within the AWS Marketplace. Newgen is part of the AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program.
