Appfire, a global provider of enterprise apps, has appointed Catherine Solazzo as Chief Marketing Officer to steer its next stage of global growth and scale its go-to-market strategy. Solazzo brings over 20 years of international marketing and leadership experience, previously holding senior roles at companies like Syntax and IBM. “I look forward to leveraging my experience across partner, developer, and digital ecosystems to drive scale across our portfolio,” Solazza said. “The Appfire marketing function will become a key growth catalyst for the company by strengthening our go-to-market execution, engagement with our partner ecosystem, and deepening our commitment to the developer community.”
Cognizant Unveils Its AI Training Data Services Offering
Cognizant has announced details on AI Training Data Services, a new offering designed to help enterprises develop, optimize, validate, and implement AI models at speed and scale. The offering addresses one of the main barriers to enterprise-scale AI adoption: access to clean, context-rich, and highly accurate training data for diverse AI use cases. With dedicated teams and extensive expertise, the AI Training Data Services cover data annotation, model customization, data governance, and model enhancement. These will help teams accelerate model development and deployment efforts while mitigating compliance and governance risks.
Cognizant Details a Strategic Partnership with WRITER
Cognizant also announced a strategic partnership with WRITER, an agentic AI technology provider, to accelerate the deployment of domain-specialized AI agents in highly regulated sectors. The collaboration will combine Cognizant’s global delivery capability with WRITER’s enterprise-grade platform to help organizations move beyond pilot projects and toward full-scale, secure AI adoption. It will also make it easier for those enterprises to streamline complex workflows, improve operational agility, and maintain rigorous compliance in sensitive environments.
DataRobot Unveils the Agent Workforce Platform
DataRobot, an agentic workforce solution provider, has unveiled the Agent Workforce Platform, a new solution for building, operating, and governing a fully functional agent workforce, even in the most complex enterprise environments. Co-engineered with NVIDIA, the platform enables organizations to manage agents like digital employees, from deployment and integration to real-time oversight, retraining, and decommissioning. This will make it easier for teams to run, orchestrate, and automatically scale AI agent workloads anywhere, whether in cross-cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments.
Hyland Launches a Solution for Managing AI Agents
Hyland, a pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud market, has launched Agent Builder. With this new tool, organizations can create, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade AI agents tailored to automate complex business workflows. Agent Builder is built on Hyland’s Content Innovation Cloud, Hyland’s internal low-code environment that empowers technical and business users to design agents that handle multi-step tasks and integrate with existing enterprise systems. Specific features the Builder offers include interacting testing tools, flexible AI model selections, and features based on Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Pipefy Appoints New Chief Operating and Sales Officers
Pipefy, a process and AI-powered workflow automation platform, has strengthened its executive team by appointing Fabio Azevedo as Chief Operating Officer and Cristiano Lamberti as Chief Sales Officer. Azevedo and Lamberti have nearly fifty years of experience between them, having held roles at major tech firms like Accenture, Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP. Alessio Alionço, Founder and CEO of Pipefy, says, “Fabio and Cristiano are highly respected leaders, and their arrival from those organizations is an intentional move to accelerate our presence and relevance within these ecosystems.”
Propel Software Reveals Its Summer Platform Release
Propel Software, a product value management (PVM) platform provider, has rolled out its latest Summer Release. The newest version introduces customizable analytics tools, improved workspace reporting features, and proactive product intelligence. It also expands on Propel’s Component Insights reporting offering by adding new integrated reports and dashboards that proactively alert users to component issues, enabling real-time decision making across product design, quality, supply chain, and production efforts. The Summer Release is available now for new and existing customers.
Sage to Acquire Fyle, an Expense Management Platform
Sage—an accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology provider for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs)—has acquired Fyle, an AI-powered expense management platform. The acquisition will allow Sage to integrate Fyle’s automation functionalities into Sage’s existing accounting and ERP systems. This will make it easier for SMBs to automate expense workflows, reduce manual effort, and receive faster access to real-time insights. Fyle will continue to integrate with third-party accounting and financial systems. It’s already integrated with Sage Intacct and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, and broader rollouts are planned across North America and beyond.
WRITER Releases a New AI Agent
WRITER, an agentic AI provider for the enterprise, has unveiled the WRITER Action Agent. The new autonomous agent will help teams seamlessly execute complex knowledge from start to finish and can navigate a broad range of tools and systems with enterprise-grade control, transparency, and governance. Action Agent uses a fully isolated virtual computer for every session and is designed to independently browse web pages, execute multi-step plans, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, provide teams with searchable audit trails, and generate images, data visualizations, and structured files like Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, and PDF.
