Anaplan Announces Four Role-Based AI Agents
Anaplan, the global provider of AI‑driven scenario planning and analysis, has announced a suite of role‑based AI agents that embed intelligence across core business functions. The new agent suite is anchored by Anaplan CoModeler, a role-based AI agent that can build, extend, and optimize planning models at speed. With CoModeler, users can convert natural language requests into structured models, logic, and calculations, enabling them to generate and refine models in minutes, rather than days or weeks. Other role-based agents included in the suite include a Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Workforce Analyst agent.
AppDirect Completes Its Acquisition of vCom Solutions
AppDirect, a B2B commerce platform, has completed its acquisition of vCom Solutions, a provider of IT lifecycle management services for mid-sized companies. The acquisition includes vCom’s network and mobility lifecycle management platform, as well as the Buyers’ Club program and managed services. Gary Storm, CEO at vCom, says, “Joining forces with AppDirect will allow us to accelerate our shared vision of a single platform and destination for IT to manage their technology…Together, we’ll continue delivering the same great customer service and support, and create exciting new revenue opportunities for advisors.”
Beroe Integrates Its DataHub Platform with the Model Context Protocol
Beroe, the global provider of procurement decision intelligence, has announced the integration of its DataHub platform with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which marks a significant advancement in how organizations can connect their AI systems to trusted procurement intelligence. By making the DataHub solution available via MCP, Beroe can provide procurement teams with an easier, more structured way to embed machine-ready, decision-grade intelligence directly into the AI agents, LLMs, and decision-support tools they rely on.
Certinia Reveals Its Winter ’26 Release
Certinia, a Professional Services Automation (PSA) software, has announced details on the Certinia Winter ’26 Release. With its latest release, Certinina expands its solution suite to include a new Project Assistant Agent that reduces administrative overhead by proactively identifying data anomalies, AI-powered Customer Account Summaries, Dynamic Playbooks that utilize AI to create customized workflows based on business policies, and an AI Prompt Configuration Builder. These updates are now available to customers enrolled in Certinia’s Early Adopter (EA) program.
ECI Software Solutions Acquires Amper Technologies
ECI Software Solutions, an AI-powered, cloud-based business management software and services provider, has acquired Amper Technologies, a provider of manufacturing execution systems (MES). With Amper’s MES now part of ECI’s solution portfolio, manufacturers can create a seamless workflow and predictable production experience. Specifically, the acquisition will introduce an AI-powered co-pilot, smart scheduling functionalities, live machine insights, and labor analytics to ECI’s manufacturing suite. Existing Amper customers can continue using the products they know, and will now benefit from ECI’s ongoing investment in modern manufacturing technology.
o9 Solutions Appoints an Executive Vice President of Next-Gen AI and Technology
o9 Solutions, a software company focused on powering enterprise planning and decisioning models, has appointed Dr. Ashwin Rao to its leadership team as Executive Vice President of Next-Gen AI and Technology. Rockwell Automation Expands Its Manufacturing Execution System Portfolio
Rockwell Automation, a global company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced a series of strategic innovations to its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) portfolio. With Rockwell’s elastic MES portfolio, companies have access to a cloud-native, interoperable MES platform designed to unify operations across operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT). The elastic, modular approach it provides can help manufacturers accelerate time to value, simplify operations, and scale capabilities as needed.
Rootstock Software Launches a Managed Services Offering
Rootstock Software, a cloud-based ERP solution for product-based companies, has launched Rootstock Managed Services. The new offering will provide customers with turnkey administration services that help facilitate the smooth operation of their Rootstock ERP environment and ongoing alignment.
