Accenture has launched the Physical AI Orchestrator, a cloud-based solution that leverages NVIDIA Omniverse and AI agents to help manufacturers transition facilities into software-defined environments. The platform builds “live digital twins” of physical assets to provide organizations with real-time simulation, automated issue detection, and process optimization capabilities. These live digital twins will also help teams in the high-tech, life sciences, and consumer goods sectors build live digital twins of planned and existing physical assets, including everything from conveyors and industrial and mobile robots to shop floor and warehouse layouts.
Blue Yonder Enhances Its Warehouse Management Solution
Blue Yonder, an AI company specializing in supply chain management, has announced several enhancements to its Warehouse Management Solution. The updates integrate predictive and agentic AI technologies into the platform to help teams unify their labor, automation, and inventory planning efforts. Specific capabilities added include an AI-powered agent for warehouse operations, resource orchestration and forecasting tools, accelerated automation onboarding, AI-powered migration tools, and an Advanced Slotting feature that enables teams to turn slotting into a proactive, continuously optimized system.
Deloitte Advances Ascend Platform for Agile AI Delivery
Deloitte, a provider of audit, consulting, tax, and advisory services, has introduced several upgrades to its Ascend agentic AI-infused delivery platform. Fireworks AI Raises $250 Million in a Series C Funding Round
Fireworks AI, an AI inference cloud solution powering production AI applications, has secured $250 million in Series C funding, bringing its valuation to $4 billion. The round, led by Lightspeed, Index Ventures, and Evantic, will help the company fuel its global expansion and R&D for AI infrastructure purpose-built for production workloads. Specifically, Fireworks AI will prioritize its investment in cutting-edge algorithms that advance model quality, software infrastructure, developer toolchains, and hiring across engineering, product, and GTM departments.
Nexthink Receives a Majority Investment From Vista Equity Partners
Nexthink, a Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management company, has announced that it has received a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners, a global technology investor specializing in enterprise software. The investment reinforces Nexthink’s position as one of the leading enterprise software companies, enabling it to continue serving over 1,500 enterprise customers and 25 million employees globally.
