According to Samsung Insights, there’s a significant amount of drivers utilizing mobile devices for personal reasons. They also need them for work to help with navigation, managing routes and meeting the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) mandate. And Samsung reported that these technologies are helping to keep workers on the job by eliminating one of the largest issues with compliance for drivers.
“The Samsung Knox security platform allows fleets to customize and personalize devices so that drivers can use them for business and personal purposes, enabled by a secure work container to protect corporate data,” according to the provider. “Samsung partners with an array of mobility solutions providers for software and hardware accessories. Samsung Business Services provides comprehensive support, including customer app development, mobile device management and tech support based on user strategies.”
