Why Your SMB Should Go Mobile in 2017
Many enterprises have already transformed their business into a mobile one, as smartphones and other devices slip into more hands. And now small and medium sized businesses have begun follow suit and want to take advantage of the trend, which accommodates workers and employers alike.

If you haven’t made the switch yet, now is the time. According to the Search Engine Journal, 75 percent of web use will be from a mobile device next year; which should make implementing a mobile device management (MDM) solution a top priority for your organization if you want to keep your data secure. And with a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy in place, companies also have the opportunity to save money on hardware costs.

It seems to be a no brainer, but if you need more convincing an article from Independent.ie says there are three major factors that should make the decision easier.

Mobility Makes You More Competitive

To start, as a mobile business you’ll be more competitive in the market, which will in turn allow you to attract the top talent in your industry. Plus, having a mobile workforce allows your business to increase size without getting a bigger office, if that’s a concern. Studies have proven that those who work from home or off-site are more productive than in-house employees.

Built-in Security Features

Another point of note is that mobile enterprises who take advantage of the cloud are also able to work with enhanced, built-in security features. According to Independent.ie, the cloud is just as accessible for small businesses as they are for large ones.

“There are administrative controls that further help secure your environment, along with layers of security features and operational best practices,” the article stated.

Better Collaboration

And finally, collaboration is done with ease when your business goes mobile. Getting information passed between employees and synching information can be done more easily and in less time.
