The gigafactories will have around 100 000 last-generation AI chips, around four times more than the AI factories being set up right now.

HPE Launches ProLiant Gen12 Servers
With this launch, HPE has a number of new servers. The first two are single-socket servers. HPE told Serve the Home they are seeing a slow migration towards single CPU server designs as processors get more cores. The first is the 1U HPE ProLiant DL320 Gen12.
LexisNexis Releases 2025 Future of Work Report
Compared to LexisNexis’ 2024 Future of Work Report, the 2025 survey shows that respondents no longer see genAI as somewhat experimental but as a performance booster, with 80 percent noting genAI has met or exceeded their expectations. Significantly, 53 percent of professionals also noted saving one to two hours per day with genAI, while 30 percent saw a three-to-four-hour savings, reflecting a clear return on investment for organizations implementing the technology.
Positron Raises $23.5 Million for US-Made AI Chips
The funding will enable Positron to scale production of its U.S.-manufactured, energy-efficient AI chips, providing enterprises with a cost-effective alternative to Nvidia’s AI hardware. They are already shipping products to data centers and neoclouds around the country — a feat that is almost insurmountable to chip startups with hundreds of millions or more in backing; and a testament to the rapid product-market fit Positron has achieved since launching in 2023.
