Episerver Receives 1 16 Billion Investment from Insight Venture PartnersEnterprise content management provider, Episerver, recently announced that it has reached an agreement to be acquired by the private equity firm, Insight Venture Partners. The New York-based firm acquired Episerver for $1.16 billion. Through this transaction, Episerver aims to further its market presence and global growth strategy, as well as increase adoption for its Digital Experience Cloud platform.

During the transaction, Episerver was advised by Goldman Sachs and Lazard. Houlihan Lokey served as special advisor to Accel-KKR, and Evercore advised Insight Venture Partners. The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018.
