Semarchy has announced the release of an updated version of its xDM data management platform. The new version (5.1) is highlighted by a feature called xDM Discovery, as well as other capabilities that enhance the user experience in data management and dashboard applications. These include add-ons like Mass-Actions, SemQL Lookups, Matcher Enhancements and Drilldown. The version 5.1 release comes on the heels of Semarchy’s March product update where the vendor added new visual components to the xDM platform.
Semarchy is unique in its breadth of ability to master any kind of data (customer B2B and B2C, product data, reference data, metadata, location, organizer, supplier). Its product is designed on Google’s Material Design Language, and a recent interface update provides a more enhanced user experience. xDM intelligently automates the generation of physical tables, the data certification framework, enrichment and standardization process, and integration intelligently.
xDM Discovery enables users to gather the profiling metrics required to prepare their data management initiative iterations. By helping teams find new datasets, understand data semantics and assessing data over time, data governance can be achieved. xDM Discovery also lets model designers support more complex data patterns in data management applications, as well as all integration and deployment models.
xDM Dashboards from the previous release will also be updated with new options for slicing and filtering data, featuring a Slicer Sidenav and specific styling to emphasize sliver value.
In a media statement, the company’s VP of Product Success FX Nicolas said: “xDM Discovery is a major component in our xDM platform. It completes the Intelligent Data Hub platform vision while enhancing the experience of designers, business users and data champions.”
