Michael Crawford is Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at America Succeeds, where he supports work connecting education, workforce development, durable skills, and economic opportunity. His work focuses on aligning what learners develop with what employers value, especially as states, regions, and institutions build stronger pathways to good jobs and long-term mobility. Michael brings experience at the intersection of policy, practice, and systems change, with particular attention to how durable skills show up in hiring, advancement, and workforce outcomes. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan, an MS in Sport Psychology from Michigan State University, and a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Kansas.
