Context for the Peer Insights for Access Management, Worldwide

Access Management, Worldwide provides enterprises with the ability to secure their users’ credentials against external and internal threats through better authentication protocols.

Moreover, AM helps enterprises with their geo-dependent and industry-dependent identity security use cases; each use case differs wildly in terms of their identity security needs.

Additionally, access management, worldwide solutions continue to innovate to better suit the demands of enterprise digital perimeters. This includes securing Internet of Things (IoT) devices, which continue to plague enterprises’ cybersecurity policies.

Oftentimes, IoT devices possess far too many permissions and can “vanish” from network visibility. Gartner notes vendors are beginning to use device context as part of their access decision-making to accommodate this growing technology.

The AM worldwide technology category supplanted IDaaS in Gartner’s analyses in 2017 as IDaaS became a delivery feature of next-gen access management solutions.
