Articul8 Launches Multimodal Decision Model With Evidence And Confidence Scoring

Articul8 has introduced Bivia, an API-accessible decision model that returns structured answers across text, images, video, audio, and sensor signals without generating output tokens. Organizations can specialize it around their policies, procedures, and historical decisions, while answers identify supporting passages, image regions, or timestamps and include confidence scores. Bivia can abstain when evidence is insufficient, helping agents route tools, verify evidence, and check task completion without calling a larger generative model at every step.

Crux Labs has emerged from stealth with more than $6 million in funding co-led by Benchstrength and Misneach, with participation from Analog Ventures and Pareto Holdings. Its platform captures subject-matter expertise within existing workflows, calibrates custom agent evaluations to that judgment, and monitors all production traffic rather than relying on small manual samples. Solutions Review Set to Host Planview for Exclusive Spotlight Show “AI-Powered Portfolio Management: Turn Strategy into Business Value” on November 25

Reporting on delivery is the foundation, not the destination. Strategy-to-outcome transparency is the next horizon: a trusted, connected view of which outcomes your investment serves, what is committed, what is deliverable and what value is being realised. AI is now making it practical, taking manual effort out of planning, forecasting and reporting so portfolio teams can spend their time steering rather than collating.

SR Expert Network: Oracle AI World Debrief: Slow and Steady Wins the Race by BARC’s Kevin Petrie

My big takeaway from Oracle AI World: enterprises will transform their processes slowly, and that is a good thing.

You could feel a tug of war between the pace of AI development and the cautious realism of people whose jobs depend on its outcomes. On the one hand, Sam Altman marveled at the speed of model improvement, telling Oracle co-CEO Clay Magouyrk “it’s like I am managing a factory inside my computer.”

EdTech Series: K-12 Can’t Borrow Higher Ed’s AI Playbook by LindyHoc’s Lindy Hockenbary

A few weeks ago I sat in a room with four high school students and a few dozen teachers who had agreed to hear what kids actually do with AI. The students were sharp, honest, and a little exasperated. In art and business class, AI was built into the projects. In biology, it was encouraged for building study guides. In English and history, it was banned. Same building, same week, four different sets of rules, and nobody could tell them why. When I asked whether anyone had ever taught them what AI actually is, how it works, where it falls apart, they looked at each other. Not in middle school. Not since.

EdTech Series: Which Human Skills Retain Value With Unlimited Knowledge Access? by Studocu’s Tyler Kirkland

Finding information has never been easier; knowing what to do with it is the hard part. Search engines were already chipping away at an individual’s need to retain knowledge; AI has accelerated that, while also providing the capabilities to turn that surfaced insight into a passable piece of work.

EdTech Series: Why Adult AI Workflows Fail Young Learners Without Thoughtful Structure by Code Ninjas’ Edward Kim

In enterprise tech, and many other industries, AI is ultimately judged by one measure: how much friction it removes for what cost. A developer who ships in an afternoon what used to take a week is the story every vendor wants to tell. For professionals (and adults in general), this is the ideal.

EdTech Series: When AI Tutoring Helps: Timing Support Around the Learner by Parallel Learning’s Meryll Dindin

A few months ago, I made the case that districts should test what students can do once the software is taken away. District leaders have been asking me the follow-up question: if the tutor stays, when should it step in?

Contributor Series: Building the Enterprise Architecture for Durable AI Value by Wipro’s Negendra Bandaru

Many enterprise AI programs stall at this point. A promising pilot may improve one workflow yet remain isolated because the model lacks consistent access to trusted data, cannot safely act across systems, or operates without built-in governance and clear ownership. The next phase of adoption is not about running more experiments. It is about creating the conditions for AI to perform securely and consistently across the enterprise.

Contributor Series: The CISO’s AI Priority List by Gigamon’s Grant Yacomeni

Recent developments are also showing how difficult that activity can be to control. This month, OpenAI disclosed that an internal research agent found a gap in its sandbox controls and reached an external chatbot despite restrictions on internet access. Anthropic separately reported malicious actors using agent swarms to divide and execute reconnaissance and post-exploitation tasks in parallel. For CISOs, these developments reinforce a challenge that is already taking shape.

Mesh Lab 7 On-Demand: Ban, Restrict, or Prepare? Rethinking AI Access in Education

In Episode 7 of the Mesh Lab, host Dr. Michelle Ament leads an expert panel examining whether educators should ban, restrict, or prepare students for generative AI. The discussion argues that outright bans are shortsighted fixes that leave learners unprepared for an evolving workforce. Instead of assessing easily automated final outputs, schools must shift focus toward the learning process itself, developing adaptable, critical thinkers who can collaborate with intelligent tools without outsourcing their human judgment.

We Didn’t Build Solutions Review for AI, We Built it for Buyers by Tim King

A nuclear bomb has been exploded in not only digital marketing, but enterprise tech buying. Buyers increasingly discover information through AI search and their favorite GenAI bot, social media platforms like LinkedIn, and synthesized answers rather than lists of blue links. Visibility still matters, but the question is evolving from “Can you rank?” to “Can you be anchored as trusted a source?”
