Akamai And MuleSoft Pair API Runtime Defense With Agent And MCP Governance
Akamai and MuleSoft have expanded their technology collaboration to integrate Akamai API Security with MuleSoft Agent Fabric, combining API inventory and runtime threat intelligence with governance for APIs, MCP servers, agents, and AI interactions. The two-way integration synchronizes API specifications and environment data, detects discrepancies between design and live traffic, and feeds Akamai behavior analytics and risk scores into MuleSoft’s control plane to help teams find shadow APIs and unmonitored MCP endpoints; it is available now and in use by more than 20 organizations.

Ataccama Gives AI Agents A Way To Validate Enterprise Data Quality Before Use
Ataccama has introduced capabilities that let AI agents check whether data meets required quality thresholds before using it for analysis or automated actions. The approach is intended to extend data-quality controls into agentic workflows, helping enterprises prevent inaccurate, incomplete, or noncompliant data from shaping AI-generated decisions and outputs.

Cloudera Finds Manufacturing AI Programs Stalled By Governance And Workflow Gaps
Cloudera’s Data Readiness Index 2026 found that 20% of manufacturing organizations cite weak integration of AI and analytics into operational workflows as the leading reason initiatives fail to achieve expected ROI. Although 82% report visibility into where their data resides, only 58% say all or nearly all data is fully governed, exposing the challenge of applying AI across fragmented factory, supply-chain, enterprise, and edge data environments.

Euno Raises $23 Million To Build An AI-Native Enterprise Context Layer
Euno has raised a $23 million Series A led by N47, bringing total funding to $29 million, to expand its platform for continuously discovering and reconstructing the lineage, meaning, ownership, and governance rules behind enterprise data. The company’s “context brain” is designed to give each AI agent only the task-relevant context it needs, while learning from operational metadata and agent feedback to support governed, cross-domain deployments; Euno says customers include AlphaSense and Zayo Group.

Rackspace Expands Sovereign AI Services Through NVIDIA Cloud Partner Program
Rackspace Technology has expanded its sovereign AI capabilities through the NVIDIA Cloud Partner Program, adding infrastructure and services designed for organizations that need to develop and operate AI workloads under data-residency, security, compliance, and operational-control requirements. The initiative gives enterprises another route to deploy NVIDIA-accelerated AI in regulated and sovereignty-sensitive environments.

Red Hat AI 3.5 Adds Agent Governance, Multi-Tenant GPU Controls, And Production Observability
Red Hat AI 3.5 is now generally available with EvalHub for model safety benchmarking and auditable compliance reporting, plus dashboards for inference health, model and agent performance, GPU utilization, and per-user token showback. The release adds AutoRAG with visual pipeline testing and contextual retrieval, agent templates, MLflow agent tracing, and more.

RingCentral Opens Voice, SMS, And Chat Context To ChatGPT And Claude Workflows
RingCentral has launched a ChatGPT plugin and MCP connectors for Claude that make voice, SMS, and chat data available to large language models under role- and identity-based access controls. The integrations enable workflows such as prioritizing sales leads from call and CRM history, sending personalized follow-ups, flagging support escalations, and creating task lists from conversations; voice, SMS, and chat connectors are available now with paid RingEX plans.

Rutgers Survey Finds Americans Want Human Oversight For AI Decisions In Hiring, Lending, Healthcare, And Education
A Rutgers-led survey of 5,154 U.S. adults found AI use is now widespread—72% have used a major AI tool and 27% use one daily—but fewer than one in 10 respondents would allow AI to make final, unsupervised decisions about hiring, loans, college admissions, parole, or medical-treatment priority. Majorities also want disclosure when AI evaluates workers, customers, or students, while 59% favor strict government regulation, highlighting a growing gap between AI adoption and public trust in high-stakes autonomous decision-making.

Salesforce Unveils Enterprise AI Harness To Connect Agent Context, Actions, And Controls
Salesforce has introduced its Enterprise AI Harness, a composable architecture that brings together trusted context, agent reasoning and orchestration, secure actions, governance, security, and model access to support AI deployment across business systems. A new AI Control Plane will let organizations discover, register, manage, evaluate, observe, and control agents across Salesforce and third-party environments, with support for MCP, APIs, skills, and plugins; the unified experience is planned to begin rolling out in early fiscal 2028.

Storyblok Adds Conversational Agents To Automate Content Operations Inside Its CMS
Storyblok has introduced Storyblok Agents, an AI-powered content-operations layer that enables teams to ask questions about content, identify stale, duplicate, untranslated, or incomplete assets, make changes in conversation, and create agents for recurring scheduled tasks. Customers can select an AI model and provider or use their own credentials to manage token spending, while an MCP server gives compatible external agents structured access to Storyblok workspaces; the company says agents operate within existing permissions and approvals.

Wasabi Forms Dedicated AI Storage Business To Target Labs, Startups, And Neoclouds
Wasabi Technologies has created a dedicated Silicon Valley-based AI business and appointed semiconductor and storage executive Pinaki Mukherjee as senior vice president and general manager to lead it.
