Appcelerator Announces Release of Titanium 3.0

Appcelerator, based in Mountain View, California, has announced the latest update to its Mobile Application Development Platform, Titanium, version 3.0.

Here are some of the new and improved features in 3.0, according to Stephen Feloney, Director of Product Management at Appcelerator:

-Alloy, a Model-View-Controller Framerwork that can separate the visual parts of the app code from the business logic and thereby make the code much easier to read.

-On-Device debugging that allows the testing of device specific functions for the app.

-A new Command Line Interface to help further automate the development process through the inclusion of developers’ own tools like editors and continuous integration platforms

Overall, appcelerator has included over 170 new features and enhancements in Titanium 3.0.
