AWS Unveils New Nova AI Models

Dubbed “Rainier” after the 14,000-foot peak that looms to the south of Amazon’s Seattle headquarters, the undertaking dwarfs the processing power used to build current state-of-the-art models, including Anthropic’s “Claude,” Amazon said Tuesday during its annual cloud computing conference in Las Vegas.

Digitate Finds European Firms ‘Race’ to Implement AI and Automation

The study, which surveyed 900 IT decision-makers across seven European countries, found that organizations have invested an average of €103.4M in AI and automation implementations over the last two years, with over half (59 percent) spending up to €295M. These investments are yielding significant returns, with 86 percent of organizations reporting ROI averaging €154.7M.
