Altair Updates its Entire Line of Data Analytics Products
Altair today announced updates to its entire line of data analytics products, according to a press release on the company’s website. The update is not just limited to the vendor’s data analytics software, but its complete portfolio of solutions, and represents what Altair is calling the “most significant software update release in company history.” User experience upgrades and intuitive new workflows headline the new capabilities aimed at engineers, data analysts and IT professionals.
This news comes on the heels of Altair’s recent update to its Panopticon platform, a streaming analytics and data visualization solution designed for operational, trading and market data. Notable upgrades include cloud-based deployment so users can build, modify, and share custom-designed functions and content via standard web browsers and a hotfix to enable deployment at Nomura.
Altair Knowledge Hub is being fitted with improved messages for troubleshooting, new security hardening capabilities and more flexible windows deployment. Customers now also gain the ability to deploy Knowledge Hub on Microsoft Azure. Altair Monarch’s user interface will be re-tuned, while the platform will be receiving new Excel trapping, PDF Engine 4.5 and enhanced column list, among other improvements. New features in Altair Knowledge Studio include Keras model, model stacking, and pivot table.
In a media statement regarding updates to Altair data analytics tools, the company’s CEO James Scapa said: “Our teams are always driven to develop and provide access to a range of different technologies that enable our customers to break through complex problems, and explore and discover on their own terms. This software update release is the largest collection of our applications for design, simulation, and data analytics.”
Solutions Review named Altair one of Best Data Science Platforms for 2020 back in January.
