Act-On Software has earned HIPAA compliance, expanding on the marketing automation platform’s information security standards. The HIPAA compliance comes on the heels of Act-On earning ISO 27001 certification in 2022, a framework for managing security risks, securing brand information, and protecting employee and client data. Gregg Neveu, Act-On Security Program Director, says, “Our HIPAA compliance assures health companies that if they trust their data with us—which is confidential patient medical information—the patient’s privacy is always protected end to end, even when those companies are doing business with other vendors.”

Capacity Acquires Textel, a Cloud-Based Texting Platform
Capacity, an AI-powered support automation platform, has acquired Textel, a cloud-based texting platform. The acquisition will help Capacity expand its platform with AI-powered SMS business texting features that enhance the end-user customer experience for contact centers, high-growth companies, and small businesses. Textel will act as a subsidiary of Capacity, remain headquartered in St. Louis, and continue working with its over 1,700 customers.

Cordial, a cross-channel marketing management platform, has revealed details on a new partnership with Snowflake, a Data Cloud company. The companies will provide customers with seamless access to customer data, enabling them to analyze engagement trends, track performance, monitor consumer behaviors, and unlock additional insights about their metrics. Cordial will also list its data offering on the Snowflake Marketplace, making it easier for customers to leverage data from Snowflake in the Cordial platform.
