Accenture has acquired Flo Group, a European consultancy and Oracle business partner specializing in global supply chain logistics. The acquisition expands Accenture’s Oracle-specific capabilities in Europe, allowing it to support clients better as they develop resilient, agile supply chains. Flo Group’s 260 employees will join the Accenture Oracle Business Group, extending its capabilities to help clients design their digital core, prepare for supply chain transformation, and maintain end-to-end visibility.

Acumatica Announces the General Availability of the Acumatica 2024 R1 Update

Acumatica, a global business solution provider, has announced the general availability of Acumatica 2024 R1, the first of its semi-annual products. The release expands Acumatica’s platform with new features and functionalities for companies across the manufacturing, distribution, construction, retail, commerce, CRM, and financial markets. It also introduces new features for developers, including tools for simplifying no-code workflow creation, calculating ratios, improving reporting flexibility, enabling faster workflow processing, improving usability, and capturing new market share.

Google Cloud and NVIDIA have expanded their existing partnership to better enable the machine learning (ML) community with the technology they need to build, scale, and manage generative AI applications. As part of this collaboration, Google has adopted the new NVIDIA Grace Blackwell AI computing platform and NVIDIA DGX Cloud service on Google Cloud. Additionally, NVIDIA has made its H100-powered DGX Cloud platform generally available on Google Cloud.

IFS Appoints a New President for its Enterprise Service Management Business

IFS, a global cloud enterprise software company, has appointed Merlin Knott as President of its Enterprise Service Management business. Knott first joined IFS in 2019, where he was tasked with running IFS’ global Partner and Channel organization. He previously held various leadership roles in organizations like SAP, Cura Software, and MicroStrategy. In his new role, Knott will lead the IFS assyst team, focus on supporting the company’s global customer base, and expand what IFS assyst can provide to customers by commercializing IFS’ full suite of service offerings.

SAP and NVIDIA are Collaborating on the Development of SAP Business AI

SAP also announced an expansion to its partnership with NVIDIA, as the two companies are collaborating on developing and delivering SAP Business AI, which will help enterprise customers use data and generative AI across the SAP solution suite. SAP Business AI includes scalable, business-specific GenAI capabilities within SAP’s Joule copilot tool.
