If Its Good Enough For the NSA Then its Good Enough For Motorola – Fixmo

The recent investment by Motorola Solution Inc’s venture arm in Fixmo is yet another sign of the importance and need for government agencies, heathcare and enterprises to secure and manage their growing mobile workforces. New technologies coupled with BYOD on iOS and Android devices that we have seen on Blackberry devices in the past. With no lack of solution providers now offering Mobile Devices Management (MDM) Mobile Application Management (MAM) and larger Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM) capabilities across multiple operating systems, what was it about Fixmo that garnered the investment by Motorola ranging between $1-million and $5-million?

The managing director of Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, Tony Palcheck, suggests that “Fixmo’s defense grade technology, capable of being deployed by the NSA and other highly-secure government departments, helps the company stand out from the crush of other firms offering similar services.” There is clearly something to be said for results, and having worked so closely with the United States National Security Agency (NSA) highlights Fixmo’s results.
