A Leader in Mobile Application Management Gains More Strength

In a recent release Apperian has announced new strategic investment from Intel. The Mobile Application Management (MAM) provider who raised $12.4 million back in March of 2012 continues to raise funds which are now totaling $28 million. The additional funding from Intel will no doubt help to continue the impressive growth that Apperian saw in 2012 who reports they saw a 276 percent growth over the past 12 months.

MAM has been picking up steam in the enterprise as companies are realizing the benefits of application usage for their business process, and Apperian is clearly taking advantage of that. Their EASE Platform is helping companies securely deploy and manage enterprise content and mobile applications that are allowing for efficiencies and communication that are helping company’s bottom lines. In the release Apperian reports that users of the EASE Platform tripled in 2012 while their customer base doubled.

Of the investment Lisa Lambert, vice president of Intel Capital and managing director of the Software and Services sector, is quoted as saying, “Apperian is helping enterprises transform the way they do business by enabling the secure deployment and management of enterprise content and mobile apps.
