Toggle, Toggle, Toggle! – AT&T Enhances Their BYOD Capabilities

In a recent press release AT&T reports that, “More than 27,000 AT&T business customers have adopted mobile applications. An explosion in the user of tablets among business customers – a 194% increase between Q1 2011 and Q1 2012. 50% of AT&T Mobile Enterprise Applications Platform customers purchase additional software or professional services from AT&T to build more mobile solutions. 5+ Mobile Device Management deals close on average per business day.” So what enhancements have these numbers produced?

AT&T Toggle is now available for all of the major operating systems and service providers. With the tidal wave of BYOD and the need for Mobile Device Management (MDM) now more organizations can utilize Toggle to separate personal and professional data on the same device. Setting these personal and professional “modes” allows for designating encrypted work spaces for access to corporate email, approved applications, calendars and guarantees that critical enterprise data is blocked from the employee’s personal applications and access.
