Mobile Business Intelligence
“Through its integration with Splunk Inc. (SPLK), a real-time operational intelligence platform, MobileIron said customers will now be able to receive critical information to support threat detection, problem resolution and strategic decision-making, providing customers with additional mobile business intelligence.”
Advanced Support Capabilities
“The platform update also includes Help@Work, a new way for employees to share Apple(AAPL) iOS device screens with help desk personnel. This feature allows employees to show tech support the problem, instead of just describing the details of the issue.”
Application Security
“To connect apps to enterprise systems, the company integrated MobileIron Tunnel, a per app virtual private network (VPN), with its platform. This enables organizations to authorize both internally-built apps and App Store apps to access corporate resources behind the firewall.”
