ExtraHop Releases New NDR Services for Midsize Enterprises

ExtraHop announced the release of new network detection and response (NDR) services designed for midsize enterprises, according to a press release on their website. ExtraHop Spotlight, the vendor’s new NDR analyst service, allows users to take advantage of targeted expert insights from ExtraHop analysts. The company also introduced a 5Gbps subscription plan for users who need a moderate amount of NDR data generated at one time. These features help midsize enterprises take advantage of ExtraHop Reveal(x), the company’s NDR solution.

ExtraHop Reveal(x) is a cloud-based NDR platform that gives organizations real-time visibility into their network from the inside out. The solution performs real-time analysis of user networks, automatically discovering and classifying key events. Reveal(x) provides network-derived business intelligence data, giving IT operations users the ability to get closer to the lines of business with greatly improved application visibility.

In addition to connecting with ExtraHop analysts, ExtraHop Spotlight grants customers with insights into issues that affect a majority of users. This allows ExtraHop clients to spend less time diagnosing and fixing common threats, as they can access knowledge from previous companies experiencing the same problem. ExtraHop offers multiple plans for Reveal(x), including 1, 5, and 10 Gbps, giving users flexibility in how they deploy the solution.

Regarding the news, ExtraHop’s VP of Product and Solutions Marketing Sri Sundaralingam said: “Midsize enterprises are subject to the same malicious activity as larger organizations, but often lack the resources that help large enterprises maintain an upper hand. Competition for scarce security talent is fierce, and budget constraints often slow tool modernization, leaving existing IT and security teams under-resourced. This new offering enables medium-sized enterprises who want to scale their business with a cloud-native network detection and response solution to efficiently cover a wide breadth of use cases.”
